The Miami office of ESi was established in 2003 to service the needs of the local legal and insurance businesses in Southeast Florida. Consultants in the Miami office provide expertise in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Automotive, and Maritime loss investigations.
The Miami laboratory is home to an industrial CT scanner for high-resolution, precision analysis of smaller detailed components. The scanner is well-suited to fine material analysis, internal defect detection, and failure investigation of complex parts that require detailed imaging without disassembly or alteration. ESi's expert consultants are on-site to analyze findings and draw technical conclusions in support of litigation, insurance, and industrial testing matters.
The facility has an air-conditioned high-bay area for laboratory inspections and locked storage of subject artifacts. It also has multi-media conference facilities for depositions or other project meetings.
The wood and metal shop area is equipped with tools and equipment to construct whatever fixtures may be necessary in the support of inspections or for trial presentation of artifacts. Lab personnel are available to locate artifacts, build custom fixtures and displays, and to transport and log in evidence.
